Best Dressed Stars Shine on the 2026 BET Awards Red Carpet

The 2026 BET Awards brought Black Hollywood's biggest stars to the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles for a night celebrating excellence in entertainment, but before the show began, the red carpet delivered plenty of standout fashion moments.

Teyana Taylor, the commander-in-chief and queen of all red carpets, materialised in a dramatic burgundy ball gown by Stephane Rolland, while Queen Latifah, the queen of sleek, was elegant in an all-black ensemble.

Brown emerged as one of the night's defining colour trends, with Doechii, Nia Long, Lizzo, Tems and multiple Grammy Award-winning R&B singer Leon Thomas III all embracing rich chocolate and coffee-toned looks in their own distinctive styles.

Meanwhile, Olandria brought sunshine to the red carpet in a striking yellow ensemble, while Estelle embraced vibrant colour in one of the evening's boldest looks.

Janet Jackson also made a statement, paying tribute to Tupac in a graphic T-shirt styled with a corset, veiled hat and durag.

From timeless monochrome to rich earthy tones and vibrant bursts of colour, the 2026 BET Awards red carpet delivered a memorable showcase of style.
